The Althea in denim is a play on deconstruction: the top half is made using meticulous hand-smocking techniques, while the fringed bottom half is left raw.
We use a honeycomb pattern to give this garment its unique texture.
Our smocking is made by Batanguena artisans who learned the craft from their mothers and grandmothers.
Has a ruffled mock turtleneck, with raw edges.
This garment has frayed edges, and is for fans of the imperfect.

Fits from bustline 32 to 48 inches; length is 36 inches; armhole is 18 inches.
