pindangan dress

Pindangan is a pleated dress sewn from white cotton twill. It is hand-embroidered with flowers and vines. 

It is our dream dress for wearing to a visit to the holy grounds of Pindangan Ruins, with the ancient stones of its Spanish-era church and the whispers of its Carmelite nuns.

Our embroidery is done entirely by hand, by Batanguena artisans who learned the craft from their mothers and grandmothers. 

There are pockets at the side seams.

Size Guide -

Fits until bustline 55 inches. Hips until 60 inches. Length is 38 inches. Shoulder width is 25.5". Armhole is 19 inches.

Model Sophia 5'5" and usually wears sizes S to M.
