maita skirt - powder blue

Working on a La Union rooftop over the summer, we used a reverse-dye method to deliberately stain fabric. Then we smocked the piece, enjoying how fabric manipulation altered the dyed designs. We like to think of the experience as an experiment  in subtraction and division. 

These are limited-edition pieces.

This Maita Skirt is powder blue, block-printed with white squares.

It can be styled as a mini dress. (See the photos.)

Made from stonewashed linen.

Free Size.

Waist adjusts with drawstrings.

Fits until waistline 40". Length 21.5". 

Our model JC is 5'2" inches tall. She usually wears a size small.
